Creating your own template

Design your own page, save it as a template, then use it in future projects.
Tilda templates library contains over 200 pre-designed pages that can be used for creating your own – just replace the photos and texts. A ready-made template can be changed beyond recognition; it's just a sample of good design and an example of blocks usage.
You can save pages of your own design as a template when you have a multi-page website with a number of similar pages within it. Or you could use it when you are making personalised landings for clients. The basic structure will remain. The only things that change are some elements of a page.

Your own templates are useful when you work as a team. For example, a designer or your head office create the design, and the marketing specialists or regional branches re-write the texts.

Here's our guide to saving your page as a template and sharing it with another user.
1.To create a template, go to Page Settings → Additional and tick the circle Make page as Template.
The template will appear in My templates folder when you create a new page.
How to create a template that will be used by a different account
Your new template can be used by another account. You just need to permit it to do so. Here's a step-by-step guide on sharing your template with a colleague:
This function is only available to our Business tariff subscribers.
1. In page Settings → Additional click the circle 'Allow other users create pages based on on this template by using this special number'.
2. Inform your colleague of this number.

3. Your colleague then clicks 'Create new page', scrolls the page to the end (in any tab), then clicks 'Enter template ID' and inputs the ID number.

4. A new page based on your template appears in your colleague's account.
Each template ID number is unique. If you don't have it, you won't be able to create a new page based on your own design.
