What is the use of microdata?
Markup is needed for search engine robots to understand what content is contained on your site and mark it with the special tags.

Also micro-markup is used to create a snippet - a special display of the site's data in the search results. The code helps the search robot to understand what data can be added to the site description in the search results.
There are several basic ways (dictionaries) of microdata:
  • Adding Schema.org parameters directly to the site code
  • Use the code JSON-LD code

The JSON-LD method allows you to not change the code for each element manually. To add markup in this case, it is sufficient to write or generate markup code and add it separately to the Head of the site or page. It is also recommended by Google.
